Associate Veterinarian
Amy Williamson, DVM
Meet Dr. Williamson! Dr. Williamson, a New England native, has always dreamed of practicing veterinary medicine in the area where she grew up and raised her family. Initially a mixed-animal practitioner for two years, she soon discovered her passion for small-animal medicine, which she has practiced full-time for the past 19 years.
Throughout her career, Dr. Williamson has gained experience in various aspects of veterinary care, but her true calling lies in fostering the human-animal bond and extending the lives of her patients. She has a particular expertise in geriatric medicine and is deeply committed to educating pet owners on the importance of preventative care and addressing the special needs of senior pets. Dr. Williamson’s approach emphasizes compassionate, with a strong focus on improving the quality of life for aging animals.
At home she lives with her husband Seth, daughters Zoe and Grace, two dogs, two cats, and two cute guinea pigs. Outside of work she routinely goes horseback riding with her daughters and loves the outdoors.
